Giving Back
The McNaughton Foundation was born in 2005 with a simple yet powerful mission: to uplift and empower at-risk and underserved youth in our communities.
As a family and company, we’ve been fortunate to prosper, and we’re deeply committed to sharing our blessings. It’s not just a duty; it’s a joy and a privilege to give back with our time, talent, and resources.
What We Do
- Locally: We support schools, athletic programs, child supportive services, special needs programs, and community facilities in the areas where we live and work.
- Regionally: We partner with Snohomish County Boys and Girls Clubs with 26 locations throughout Washington State as well as one location in Oregon, impacting over 23,000 young lives annually through programs like tutoring, STEM support, sports, childcare, mentoring, and more.
- Nationally: TMF supports the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, reaching over 1.4 million youth each year. Their initiatives include Badges for Baseball, installing over 600 STEM centers, constructing over 120 sports fields (and counting) throughout the country, providing summer camps, child protection programs, and countless other impactful programs.
Our Impact
To date, we’ve donated over $2.5 million, averaging $200,000 annually. The McNaughton family is also actively involved in various nonprofit boards, dedicated to serving underserved youth across the region and nation.
TMF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, generously supported by Village Life, Inc. and its affiliates. Every year, we dedicate 5% of our profits to TMF, fueling our efforts to make a difference. Village Life, a renowned residential development and homebuilding company, is rooted in Lynnwood, WA. We’re proud to build thriving communities and beautiful homes throughout the Puget Sound and Wenatchee regions. Our dedicated team is the heart of Village Life’s success, and they actively participate in various community initiatives.
But our commitment doesn’t stop with financial support. The McNaughton family, individually, has served on numerous nonprofit boards across the country, with a specific focus on empowering underserved youth. Each member of our team plays a vital role in this mission, from volunteering in local initiatives to leading outreach programs. It’s through their dedication and passion that we continue to strengthen the fabric of our communities and build brighter futures.
